Inspired By Nature

I have always been curious about nature. As a child, my siblings and I would eat wild honeysuckles that grew in our yard. We had wild imaginations--playing in the woods and creating our own “garden” of wild onions. I grew up hiking with my family on camping trips, and always stopped to find unique plants, or cute salamanders. I would often find the daffodils scattered at the edge of the woods on our property and cut them for our kitchen table; I loved finding the beauty of creation around me.

As I started playing around with flower arrangements, I found it to be therapeutic and marveled at the way flowers could be arranged. I created one of my friends' florals for her wedding one summer as the first official wedding that I have done. When I officially launched my business, I had no idea just how much my business would blossom over the first year.

I strive to use local stems and blooms grown by friends when possible. In my spare time, I spend hours reading romance novels and thrillers, playing with my mini goldendoodle, Oakley, and adventuring with my husband.
